How to Use Reels provided by Coffee and Contracts?

Within Coffee & Contracts' Monthly Content Calendar, you have access to Reel Templates.

Here's how to use the Reel Templates provided by Coffee & Contracts:

1. First, locate the Reel template you like within the Content Calendar
2. Click the "Open in Canva" button to access the template. These Canva templates are meant to be used as your Reel cover photo. You will only need one image, so choose the design you like best and delete the rest.
   1. Upload a branding photo of yourself into Canva, and drag it into the template, or use the stock image provided. (Note, using a branding photo of yourself will perform better than the stock images we provide). Use the Photo Suggestion above the template on the Coffee & Contracts website for the type of branding photo we recommend using.
   2. Download the Reel cover photo design as a PNG file. Then send it to your phone via text message or airdrop. As mentioned, we will use this PNG later as your Reel Cover Photo.
3. Next, film footage for your Reel. 
   1. Specific filming instructions for the Reel template you're using can be found back on the Coffee & Contracts website, below the Reel template.
   2. If you record your video outside of the Reels platform, be sure to save the video to your camera roll to easily access it.
4. Next, upload your video clip(s) into the Instagram Reels platform
5. Add music to your Reel by clicking on the audio icon. You can pick a song you like from the list provided, or select one you've previously saved. To access an audio you previously saved, click on “Saved audio”
6. To add a voiceover, click the audio icon. Choose the voiceover button and record yourself. Next, click the "Controls" button to adjust the audio - be sure the music volume is turned down so your voiceover comes through!
7. Next, add your caption. Done-for-you captions will be included below the Reel template you're working with on the Coffee & Contracts website
8. Next, click "Edit Cover" and add the Reel Cover Photo you downloaded earlier. If you haven't already, send this image to your phone from your computer via airdrop or text message.
