I'm having trouble getting started

Welcome to Coffee & Contracts. I'm so thrilled to have you here! If you're curious about me and how I got here, feel free to check out my bio here. Whether you're a brand new agent or you've been agent for years, this guide will help you to get started with C&C as well as provide a framework for you follow to build your business using Instagram.

Let's get started!

1) Do you have a Canva account?
You'll need a Canva account to use our templates. You can use Canva for free or sign up for Canva Pro for premium templates and features at $13/month or $120/year. All of our templates work with the free version of Canva.

2) Do you have a brand kit and logo established?
Create a brand kit with logo variations, colors, and fonts that you will use in your marketing materials and templates. You can access the C&C Brand Kit template here. If you'd like to hire a professional to do this, we recommend checking out Fiverr, UpWork, or 99Designs. 

3) Is your Instagram account set up for success?
Use our Instagram Audit worksheet to make sure your account is set up for success.

4) Consider investing in professional brand photography.
Members who use their own brand images in our templates get 10x the results. Professional brand photos helps you to stand out for your competition. It helps build connections, trust, credibility, brand recognition, and creates opportunities for features and interviews, all of which are important for scaling your business.

Prices vary, but hiring a brand photographer can be an investment. Expect to pay anywhere between between $1500 to $5000. You can also DIY photos with your phone, a $30 tripod and good lighting.

5) Start getting social on Instagram and in the C&C Facebook Group!
Start getting your name out there by interacting with popular local accounts, popular real estate accounts, and networking with other real estate agents across the globe. (Idea: Turn on post notifications for popular local or real estate industry pages so you can be one of the first to comment)

Start asking questions and talking in the Members-Only Facebook Group.

6) Set up a landing page using an incentive from C&C
Select a resource that your audience would find valuable from the Printables section. Use this as an incentive to entice your audience to sign up for your email list. More on this in the Email Marketing section.

9) Start customizing C&C templates and create a posting plan.
Use the Content Scheduling Guide for instructions on how to customize your C&C templates in bulk and schedule them for the month in advance.
