You've customized your C&C Carousel in Canva - now what?
Once you’ve customized your post and copied your caption, the final step is getting everything from your computer to your phone so you can post on Instagram. There are two simple ways to do this, depending on whether you’re an Apple user or not.
Option 1: Apple users (Mac + iPhone)
Step 1: Download your images
In Canva, click Share, then Download, and download your images as PNG files.
Open the download in your Finder
Double-click the zip file to unzip it so your images are accessible.
Step 2: Send the images to your phone
Select all of the images, right-click, and AirDrop them to yourself.
Your photos will now be saved on your phone.
Step 3: Copy your caption
If Handoff is turned on and you’re logged into iCloud on both devices (with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled), copy the caption on your computer and paste it directly on your phone into the caption in Instagram
To turn on Handoff:
On your iPhone: go to Settings > General > AirPlay & Handoff > Turn on Handoff
On your Mac: go to System Settings > General > AirDrop & Handoff > Turn on Handoff
Option 2: Non-Apple users (or if you prefer a workaround)
Step 1: Copy your caption
Copy the caption from Coffee & Contracts.
Step 2: Paste the caption into Canva
Open the post in Canva on your computer.
Click the Notes tab in the bottom left and paste your caption there.
Step 3: Send the post to your phone
Click Share, then See all, and select Send to phone.
A QR code will appear on your screen.
Step 4: Open the post on your phone
Scan the QR code with your phone’s camera.
This will open the post in the Canva app on your phone. Make sure you’re logged in.
Step 5: Download the images to your phone
Tap the download icon (arrow pointing down in the top right).
Select Save images to download them directly to your phone.
Step 6: Copy your caption from Canva
Scroll over on the bottom toolbar, tap More, then tap Notes.
Press and hold, select all, and copy the caption.

Posting on Instagram
Step 1: Start a new post
Open Instagram and tap the plus (+) button at the top.
Switch to Post.
Step 2: Select your images
Choose your first image, then tap the carousel icon in the top right.
Select the rest of your images and tap Next.
Step 3: Add trending audio
Tap Music, go to Trending, and choose an audio that fits the post.
Tap Next.
Step 4: Finalize your post
Paste your caption.
Tag people or invite collaborators (especially local accounts for local posts).
Add your location and choose whether to cross-post to Facebook.
Step 5: Share
Tap Share — and you’re live 🎉
