How to place text behind an object using Canva's Magic Grab feature

Click on Uploads in the left sidebar and upload your image, or choose one from your existing uploads.

Click on your photo to select it.

At the top, click Edit Photo > Magic Grab (this will detect the main subject

Once Magic Grab processes, you’ll see an option to select different parts of the image.

Click on the subject (yourself or a home, for example) and Canva will separate it from the background.

Click Text on the left toolbar and add your desired text.

Position the text behind you by selecting the text box, then clicking Position > Send Backward until it’s behind the subject.

Resize or reposition both your cutout and text for the best effect.

Adjust the background (blur it slightly or change colors) to enhance contrast.
