There's a simple but powerful reel format that's great for getting your Instagram audience into your pipeline – At C&C we call them MLS preview reels.

Inspired by a reel created by C&C Content Coach Marie Lee, MLS preview reels are a powerful way to start conversations and add prospects to an automated home search on the MLS.

How to create a MLS Preview Reel

  1. Consider your ideal client. Think about a price point, property type, or property amenity they would be interested in.

  2. Gather videos for the reel

    1. For the first clip: use a short (< 3 seconds) video of yourself, your surroundings at a listing, or walking through a neighborhood you target. Search "B-Roll Video Guide" in the C&C Dashboard for video inspiration.

    2. For the second clip: Navigate to your MLS on your phone and create a filtered list of homes based on the parameters you choose above. Generate a shareable URL. Take a screen recording of your filtered MLS slowly scrolling through the listings shown. (Screen recording instructions by phone type ⬇️)

  3. Upload your screen recording to your C&C reel template.

  4. Copy the caption, add a trending audio & post!

  5. Share the MLS link with people who request it.

    1. Send a follow up message to those people: “Would it be helpful for you to get an email once a week with houses that meet this criteria?”

    2. Add their email addresses to an automated search in your MLS.

    1. Swipe down from the top right corner of your screen. Tap the screen record button (a circle with a dot inside it). You will see a short countdown timer before recording begins. Tap the top of the screen when you're finished recording. The video will now live in your Photos app.

  2. How to screen record on Android:
