Many of our templates have a darker background photo to help text and elements stand out in the design. If you'd like to lighten the background image, follow the steps below!
How to Adjust a Dark Background Image
Step One: Select the image, then click the Transparency icon (checkerboard icon in the top-right toolbar).
Step Two:
Increase the transparency slightly to lighten the image to your desired shade.
The current background color is black to create a lighter effect you can also change this to white or beige.
Step Three:
When lightening the background image, text may be more difficult to read. You can adjust the font color or add a background effect to the text to help it stand out.
