The Case Study Generator is a tool inside Content Studio that turns one of your real transactions into a ready-to-post carousel β€” written in your voice, around your market. You fill in the details of a closing, and it builds out five slides of copy you can paste straight into our Case Study Template.

Step 1: Open Content Studio and select Case Study

From your C&C dashboard, navigate to Content Studio. If you haven't filled out your Market Profile yet, you'll be prompted to do that first β€” it's a quick setup that helps personalize your output.

Once your profile is saved, select Case Study from the Generate Content menu.

Step 2: Fill in your transaction details

You'll be asked three questions about a recent closing:

  • How did your client find you? (e.g., referral from a past client, social media, open house)

  • What made this situation interesting or challenging? Think: multiple offers, inspection issues, relocation, tight timeline, low inventory, new construction, tough market conditions β€” whatever made this one worth telling

  • What did you specifically do to help? Examples: negotiated terms, found an off-market property, helped them pivot, waived a contingency, created a marketing strategy

Then add the outcome β€” closing timeline, price result, any wins worth highlighting.

πŸ’‘ The more specific you are, the better the output. A generic "helped buyer win in competitive market" will produce generic copy. "Negotiated a rent-back agreement and waived the appraisal contingency to close in 28 days, $15K over asking" will produce something worth posting.

Step 3: Generate your case study

Hit Generate and the tool will build out five slides of carousel copy:

  • Slide 1 β€” A scroll-stopping hook

  • Slide 2 β€” The obstacle or challenge your client faced

  • Slide 3 β€” What you did to solve it

  • Slide 4 β€” The outcome/results

  • Slide 5 β€” A testimonial placeholder + call to action (there's also an alternate slide if you don't have a testimonial yet)

Each slide has a copy button so you can grab the text and paste it directly into Canva.

Step 4: Choose your Canva template

Scroll through the case study templates at the bottom of the generator β€” there are several options based on common scenarios. Pick the one that best fits your story, or use the generic template to fill in from scratch.

Step 5: Paste your copy into Canva

Once you're in the template, paste your generated text slide by slide. A few tips:

  • Slide 1 (Hook): If your city is already mentioned in the hook, you can remove the city label from the template β€” it's there so viewers immediately know your market, but you don't need it twice

  • Slide 2 (Obstacle): The template has two text boxes β€” paste the full text into the bottom box first, then cut the first sentence up into the top box so it reads as a headline + body

  • Images: The templates come with placeholder photos from Dupe (a free stock photo site). You can keep them or swap in photos of the actual property or behind-the-scenes transaction shots

  • Testimonial slide: Add a short client quote if you have one. If not, use the alternate CTA-only slide

Step 6: Copy your caption and post

Back in the generator, copy the ready-to-use caption at the bottom and take it straight to Instagram with your finished carousel.

A few things to know

  • You can generate a case study for any closing β€” it doesn't have to be recent, just real

  • Your Market Profile answers carry over, so the copy will already reflect your city and positioning

  • Case Study is one of several tools inside Content Studio β€” more are being added regularly
