The Monthly Edit is a big post, but it’s a top performer for C&C Members because it’s full of local value for your audience. Here are some quick tips to save time customizing:


💬 How to Update [City Name] In Bulk

Update the placeholder text “[City Name]” in bulk using Canva’s Find + Replace feature.

Instructions:

Step 1: On the top horizontal toolbar, Choose “File” > “Find and Replace Text”. For a keyboard shortcut type: Command + F on your keyboard

Step 2: Type “[City Name]” and replace with your city’s name. Choose “Replace all


📍 How To Generate Local Events

💬 AI Prompt: Research what events are happening this [Month] in [City Name]. Give me the most popular events that I can share with locals in our city. Provide sources so I can fact check. Use the following template as a format. No bullet points please. Event Name | Location | April 2nd

Review the response for accuracy. Paste the results into your design. Want to check additional sources for local events? We recommend checking out Eventbrite, your city's official website or Instagram account, local tourism websites or Instagram accounts, your local newspaper publications and of course, Google!


🪣 How To Generate a Bucket List

💬 AI Prompt: Help me with a "bucket list" list of local adventures in [Month] for [City Name]. Pick things that a local would recommend, avoid big retailers and ideas that are too obvious. Give a recommendation for kids, adults, a place to eat, and a place for a drink. Write responses in 150 characters or less. Follow this format:

Kids: Manatee-spotting at TECO Center. Bring binoculars & snacks

Adults: Gasparilla Pirate Parade. Get your beads + boots.

To eat: La Segunda Bakery for a legit Cuban + guava pastry in Ybor

To drink: Hot cocoa from Buddy Brew, add a shot of espresso

Step 1: Check your local MLS to gather accurate, recent data and add those numbers into the market stat placeholders in brackets below.

Step 2: Use this AI prompt:

Based on the current real estate market data for [City Name] below, please share a sentence about what this info means for buyers and sellers. Keep it under 150 characters and write in a casual way that anyone could understand.

Active Listings: [XXX]

Sold Listings: [XXX]

Avg. Days on Market: [XXX]

Median Sold Price: [$XXX]

Here is an example of a good output: "I'm seeing homes lingering on the market longer and prices coming down. It's been a favorable time for buyers here in [City Name]."

Step 3: Use the response to update the "How's The Market?" slide in your design.
