Each month, we provide a carousel post template called "The Monthly Edit."

While you can use the name "The Monthly Edit" for this monthly series, we recommend changing it to something unique for your brand and/or your city. For example, "The Miami Minute" or "The Tampa Times."

Here are some tips for customizing this value-packed post.

Find and Replace Text

Update “City Name” and “@yourinstagramhandle” throughout these designs to your own information using Canva’s Find + Replace Feature.

On the top horizontal toolbar, Choose “File” > “Find and Replace Text” (For a keyboard shortcut use: Command, F)

Next, type “City Name” and replace with your City’s name. Choose “Replace all”

Repeat this step with “yourinstagramhandle” & replace it with your own instagram handle.

Market Update AI Prompt:

"Please update the information below with updated data about the [City Name] market as of today. Please provide sources so I can check for accuracy. Please rewrite the information in the same format, and similar character count.

Heading: City Name homes sell for 17.5% more in September 2022, despite a 37% drop in sales. In other words...

Paragraph: The housing market in City Name is becoming increasingly competitive as prices have risen by 17.5% and homes are selling more quickly than in the past, making it more difficult for buyers to find an affordable home. For sellers, the market conditions are favorable with prices rising and homes selling relatively quickly, but the decrease in the number of homes sold might indicate a decrease in demand."

Upcoming Events Prompt:

"Please provide 4 events happening in [City Name] in [Month] [Year]. Please provide sources so I can check for accuracy. Please follow this format:

Aug 11

Event Name

Sat 11-2

Location"
