There are two ways to edit the Reel
ONE: Within Instagram (this is the easiest way on your phone)
TWO: Within Canva (desktop version)
Option One: Editing the Template on Instagram
Step One:
You will want to use your phone to navigate to the template in your Content Vault or send yourself the link from your desktop.
Step Two:
In the template on your user dashboard, you will see:
Open Link 🔗
Click that link on your iPhone to open up Instagram or send it to yourself from your computer.
The link will open the template on Instagram
Step Three:
From your Instagram app at the bottom of the Reel, you will see white text with a gray background. The first is usually the music used in the video, if you slide the bar to the left you will see "Template by coffeecontracts"
Click "Template by coffeecontracts"
Step Four:
Instagram will then open up a page with all the videos that have used our template. At the bottom click "Use Template"
Step Five:
You can now edit the text and videos in the template.
> Click the first box with "2.2" and your camera roll will come up to replace our video with a video you select.
> From the same screen of your camera roll you can select your second video and so on until you've fulfilled 5 video slots in the template.
> Click "Next" to see all your selected videos strung together in our template.
> To edit the text click on the text in the middle of the screen. Edit your city name.
Step Six:
Click next and post your video with the caption we provided in your user dashboard. To do this, navigate back to the template on your user dashboard and click copy caption.
Paste the caption in Instagram and edit the hashtags.
Step Seven:
Click Share in the lower right-hand corner and your reel is LIVE!
Edit the Reel Template in Canva
Step One:
Locate the reel you want to use in Coffee and Contracts Content Vault
Click "Open in Canva"
Note: Not all reel templates have the option to edit within Canva. Some templates are only editable in Instagram.
Step Two:
Select the first video tile at the bottom of the template then drag and drop your video into the page.
(Click Upload files in purple at the top to upload your own videos)
Step Three:
Once your video is placed, adjust the duration of the video by clicking the tile at the bottom and dragging it with your mouse until you reach 1.3 seconds.
Repeat the process until all 5 video tiles are filled and the duration of each video matches the original template: 1.3 seconds, .08 seconds. .08 seconds, .09 seconds and .09 seconds.
Step Four:
Edit the text to your city name, copy and paste for all 5 videos.
Step Five: Download and share
Once Complete:
> Click "Share"
> Download
> MP4 Video
> Download
Step Six: Post on Instagram
Once the video is downloaded It's time to post it on Instagram:
Airdrop the video to your phone
Upload the video to your Instagram as a Reel
Open the Instagram app
Click the + button in the center at the bottom of the screen
Select the video you just edited
Click Next in the lower right
Click Next in the upper right
Select a trending audio: You'll know if it's trending if the audio has an arrow beside the artist name
Click Next
Copy the Coffee and Contracts caption from your dashboard.
Edit the hashtags
Click Share
